PRIMARY THERAPIST

Job Description Breathe (Life Healing Centers) is hiring for a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, AMFT, ACSW) in West Hollywood, CA area!The Licensed Therapist provides clinical care for clients participating in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs at Breathe Life Healing Centers. This role delivers individual, family, and group therapy within an LGBTQ-affirming, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused environment.This position requires experience and competency in working with clients impacted by chemsex, sexualized drug use, sexual trauma, co-occurring disorders, and LGBTQ+ identity development. PHP/IOP therapists play a key role in assessment, stabilization, clinical planning, and preparing clients for successful step-down or discharge.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy consistent with Residential/PHP/IOP program curriculum and client needs.Conduct intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and risk assessments for new PHP/IOP admissions.Complete all progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, and discharge documentation within required timeframes.Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with ASAM criteria and update them based on client progress.Evaluate clinical progress and modify treatment plans to ensure continued growth and stability.Provide crisis intervention support and escalate acute concerns to the Clinical Director or psychiatric team as needed.Participate in daily clinical rounds to review client progress, acuity, and treatment recommendations.Facilitate groups and individual sessions addressing chemsex recovery, sexual health, intimacy, identity, trauma, relapse prevention, and other quality groups.Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Active, unrestricted California licensure (LMFT or LCSW) preferred.Will consider AMFT, ACSWMinimum one year of experience in behavioral health; PHP/IOP or outpatient SUD/MH experience preferred.Demonstrated experience providing culturally competent care to LGBTQ+ clients, including transgender and gender-expansive individuals.Clinical proficiency in treating clients affected by chemsex, including methamphetamine use, GHB/GBL, sexual compulsivity, and trauma related to sexualized drug use.Experience using ASAM criteria and outpatient treatment planning.Familiarity with evidence-based practices (DBT, ACT, MI, EMDR, IFS, CBT, etc.).TB clearance, CPR/First Aid certification, and I-9 documentation within the first week of employment.Benefits Designed for You and YoursSero Mental Health and its subsidiary companies are proud to offer full-time employees and their dependents enrollment in multi-level medical, dental, and vision health benefits with substantial employer premium contributions.
