We are looking for someone passionate about delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that improve access to clean water and enhance quality of life.Position OverviewThe R&D Technologist supports both new technology development and manufacturing of Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Nanofiltration (NF) products. This role provides analytical testing and data interpretation to support cross-functional teams in R&D, TS&D, Manufacturing Technology, and the Element Evaluation Lab to address customer applications and challenges.This is an on-site role in Edina, MN. Relocation for this role is not supported.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine analytical testing on RO/NF membranes, feed and permeate streams, microbial samples, and customer samplesOperate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical instruments and custom testing equipmentDevelop, validate, and continuously improve analytical methods and lab processesCollaborate effectively across cross-functional teams with diverse backgrounds and perspectivesEnsure safe lab operations and maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety standardsActively support site and department safety initiativesDocument and report experimental data using LIMSQualificationsB.S. degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (relevant experience may be considered)20+ hours of college-level coursework in technical disciplines (chemistry, engineering, polymer science, or similar) required2+ years of R&D lab experience preferred, including operation and maintenance of analytical equipmentWorking knowledge of analytical techniques (ICP, ICP-MS, FTIR, SEM, etc.) is a plusAbility to work independently, from task initiation through data analysis and reportingStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to travel up to 5%Join our Talent Community to stay connected with us!DuPont is an equal opportunity employer.
