Job Title: ETL Developer (Ab Initio)Job Location: RemoteJob Type – Contract Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Analytics / ETL Developer (Ab Initio) with strong SQL and ETL expertise to support healthcare data warehousing and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with enterprise‑scale ETL development (preferably Ab Initio or equivalent), R programming, and deep SQL knowledge, along with a solid understanding of healthcare data domains and compliance standards. This role involves close collaboration with analytics, business, and QA teams in a hybrid work environment.Responsibilities: Analytics / ETL DeveloperDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for large healthcare data warehousesDevelop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, including: Stored proceduresCommon Table Expressions (CTEs)Nested queries and multi‑table joinPerform data transformations, validations, and reconciliations to ensure high data quality and accuracyWork with structured and semi‑structured healthcare data across RDBMS and analytics platforms Use Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation, job control, and operational supportSupport downstream analytics and reporting use cases for BI and data science teamsParticipate in the full SDLC using Waterfall methodologiesCollaborate using Agile/SDLC tracking tools such as RallyManage source control and CI/CD processes using GitLab and JenkinsSchedule, monitor, and troubleshoot batch jobs using Control‑M or other enterprise schedulersEnsure adherence to healthcare compliance and security standards including:HIPAASOC 2HITRUSTPreferred Skills Technical ExpertiseStrong SQL expertise (mandatory)Stored procedures, CTEs, complex joins, performance tuningETL Development Experience: 5–8 years overallR programming experience for analytics and data processingUnix/Linux shell scriptingSolid understanding of: Data warehousing concepts, RDBMS architecture and design, Analytics and reporting pipelinesAb Initio – Good to haveCandidates without Ab Initio are acceptable if they have strong ETL + R experienceEnterprise ETL tools (Ab Initio, Boomi, or similar)GitLab, Jenkins (CI/CD)Control‑M or equivalent job schedulersRally or similar SDLC/Agile tracking tools-Thanks & regardsAkram Khan
