Senior Java Backend DeveloperLocation: New York (Onsite / Hybrid / Remote based on client requirements)Employment Type: W2 – Full-Time (No C2C)Work Authorization: H4 EAD, L2S, Green Card, U.S. CitizenKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.Build RESTful APIs and Microservices following industry best practices.Develop secure, reliable, and efficient server-side solutions integrated with databases and third-party systems.Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure system reliability.Follow Agile, SDLC, coding standards, and CI/CD best practices throughout the development lifecycle.Required Skills:8+ years of Java Backend development experience.Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Microservices.Experience developing REST APIs and working with SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, and API testing tools.Strong understanding of multithreading, exception handling, design patterns, and object-oriented programming.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Banking, Healthcare, Retail, Insurance, or Financial Services domains.Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software engineering practices.About Precision Technologies Corp (PTC)Precision Technologies Corp (PTC) is a leading IT Consulting and Digital Transformation company headquartered in New Jersey.
