Compensation & Benefits
Salaried position with annual discretionary bonus.
Two (2) weeks vacation annually, seven (7) personal days annually, employer contributions to health, dental, and vision insurance, and employer 401K match and profit sharing.
Job Description
The Associate Permit Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Permit Coordinator throughout the permitting process, ensuring all necessary submittal materials are obtained in a timely manner and closing out permits. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our internal departments and the regulatory agencies, facilitating communication and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. In addition, the Associate Permit Coordinate helps develop and serves as a resource to ensure clients and internal team members are properly educated and supported throughout the permitting process to ensure proper understanding of the process, adequate expectations are set, and minimize delays and corrections on permitting submittals.
Role Responsibilities
Follow and help advise on established permitting and project management policies and procedures
Work with Sales and Project Management department in communicating the requisite permitting submittal requirements and timelines to properly manage client’s expectations
Liaise with departments to educate about jurisdictional permitting requirements and help meet project time frames
Facilitate collaboration and communication among departmental colleagues and project teams, ensuring seamless coordination and information flow
Coordinate and/or travel to DMV region site locations for permit close out inspections
Prepare and present oral and/or written technical reports and project presentations
Provide inter-department feedback based on customer needs and market demands
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or three years work experience.
Lift 50 lbs
Sit for prolonged periods of time
Stand for prolonged periods of time
Reach, push, pull, bend, squat
Drive (have valid driver's license)
Ascend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs
Read blueprints and construction drawings
Work outdoors in cold or hot weather
Wear personal protective equipment, when required (e.g. safety glasses, hard hats)
Work in loud environments
The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 68,750 USD per year (6511 Chillum)
