Senior Rust Engineer

Digis islooking for aproactive and experienced Senior Rust Engineer tojoin our distributed team and contribute toacutting-edge real-time speech transformation project! About the Project The client is a U.S.-based startup building real-time voice transformation software. The platform allows users to transform their spoken accent in real time— for example, enabling someone from India to communicate with a posh British accent during alive call. It’s already in production and has demonstrated strong market demand, having raised $2M in summer 2024. Stage : In production since 2022. Team : Around 20 team members distributed across the US, Europe, Asia, and South America, including developers, QA engineers, and tech PMs. Project Duration : Long-term (6+ months). Project Country and Time Zone : USA, PST. Working hours up to 2 PM PST (midnight Kyiv time). Process and workflow : The team works in 1-month sprints with 1–2 weekly calls. Code review is actively practiced. QA specialists are present on the team. Key Requirements 3+ years of hands-on experience with Rust . Python — ability to read and understand code; basic scripting skills. Experience with high-performance systems and real-time streaming architectures is a strong plus. Solid communication skills— English sufficient to pass technical interviews. Understanding of audio processing and streaming systems will be a significant advantage.
