We are always looking for people who want to join us in our pursuit and be part of a team that delivers on that promise.About the role: CSI is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our growing team.RESPONSIBILITIES:Travel to customer sites (50%-70%) to install, commission, and service control panels and automation systems.Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, wiring, and panel integrationConduct system troubleshooting-both hardware and software-on-site and remotelyModify and troubleshoot basic Allen-Bradley PLC programs as neededWork directly with customers to identify and resolve system issues and ensure satisfaction.Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawingsDocument service activities, system updates, and field modifications accuratelyMaintain a professional attitude and communication with customers and team membersEnsure all work meets safety standards and company quality requirementsQUALIFICATIONS Minimum 2 years of experience in panel building, electrical systems, or industrial automationProficiency with electrical schematics, control wiring, and panel layoutBasic experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (RSLogix / Studio 5000) for programming and troubleshootingStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skills-hardware and softwareAbility to work independently in the field and collaborate effectively with othersExcellent communication and customer service skills.Willingness and ability to travel 50%-70% (domestic and/or international)Valid driver's license, eligible to obtain passport. ability to meet travel requirementsPREFERRED SKILLSExperience with HMI programming (FactoryTalk, PanelView, etc.)Familiarity with VFDs, motion control, and industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, etc.)OSHA or electrical safety trainingExperience in system commissioning or field service environmentsExcellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shiftsCOMPENSATION & BENEFITSCompetitive pay based on experienceTravel expenses coveredHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) planPaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for professional growth and technical training
