Sewer and Drain Technician

Sewer & Drain Technician Jerry Kelly Heating & Air Conditioning is expanding our plumbing division and looking for a skilled, customer-focused Sewer & Drain Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will specialize in diagnosing, clearing, and repairing residential drain and sewer systems. Career development and advancement opportunities Key Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve residential sewer and drain issues using powered drain equipment, cameras, and hand tools Perform sewer line inspections, locate underground lines, and identify problem areas Clear main lines, branch lines, and drains using mechanical and high-pressure water jetting equipment Communicate findings and solutions clearly to homeowners in a professional manner Present repair/replacement options and upsell when appropriate Keep accurate records of work completed and collect payments when required Maintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicle Follow all safety procedures and plumbing codes Collaborate with team members and attend training sessions to stay up to date Requirements 2+ years of experience in sewer, drain cleaning, or plumbing service preferred Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Experience with camera inspection and locating equipment is a plus Excellent communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record (Class E license required within 30 days of hire) Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., operate heavy drain equipment, and work in confined spaces Professional appearance (visible tattoos must be covered while working) No overnight travel required At Jerry Kelly Heating & Air Conditioning, we take pride in offering top-tier service to our customers and unmatched support to our team.
