Software Engineer IIIDPP is seeking a Software Engineer III for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.Work location: Onsite in Camarillo, CADuration: 12 monthsTerms: W2 ContractWork authorization: US Citizen; must hold a current/active Secret security clearancePosition Description:Develop embedded real-time system software.Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team.Resolve software and system defects.Collaborate with our customers, internal sites and disciplines.Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings.Use project dependent tools including:Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORSGit, Bitbucket, Jira, ConfluenceAda, C/C++, C#, PythonGreen Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and LinuxRequired Qualifications:BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 years of experience; or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 3 years of experience.Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#.Knowledge of object-oriented software development.Ability to function as a member of an integrated team.Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.).US Citizenship required.DoD Secret Clearance or higher, interim Secret is acceptable.Preferred Qualifications:Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.Strong collaborative mindset.Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program.Experience programming with Ada language.Experience programming with C++ language.Experience with real-time embedded software development.Experience working in an Agile environment.Electronic Warfare system development and design experience.Interested?
