Job Title: Director of People OperationsLocation: Temple, TXReports To: Chief Executive OfficerPrimary duties will include:Operates as a strategic and tactical partner to business operations leadership by aligning the People strategy to the business strategy and incorporating into day-to-day work.Act as a catalyst for positive change in support of our culture; guiding and driving change management and communications solutions that contribute to stronger collaboration and connectionsPerform a wide range of Human Resources activities including but not limited to employee relations management, talent development, compensation administration, workforce planning/talent acquisition, manager/executive development, organizationa design, and performance managementProvide progressive people solutions such as integrated talent management, workforce planning, succession planning, and organization structure to increase business impactReview and analyze workforce data and key people metrics to improve the worker experience, assess gaps and opportunities and provides insights to leaders to help inform the right business decisionsPropose People solutions and/or organizational changes based upon an analysis of critical business opportunitiesManage complex employee relations issues including organizational and structural changes, conduct and direct investigations ensuring proper handling, documentation, ;and alignment with legalServe as an advisor to management for employment related legal issues and ensures local compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsWork with management to develop and implement training strategies to meet employee needsContinually challenge and improve the programs, policies, practices and processes associated with meeting the strategic and operational people demandLead a team of People Operations professionals to ensure consistent and streamlined practices and services across the businessManage and support the ongoing development and career progression of People Operations team members through coaching, performance feedback and career discussion to foster meaningful career experiences while meeting the needs of the businessOther duties as assignedRequirements:10+ years of HR experience across all areas of HR, with 5+ years partnering with, managing, or providing consultation to a customer groupExperience developing and operationalizing strategy, and leading projects and change initiativesStrong leadership and influencing skills including superb communication, action-orientation, and proven consultancy skills (analysis, problem-solving, facilitation, developing and operationalizing business cases) intellect and ability to garner trust as an advisor through business knowledge, relationship-building, and an ability to drive results collaborativelyCultural astuteness, integrity, and sound judgement with a positive attitude, sound judgment, professionalism with handling confidential informationExperience with diverse client groups and agility to work with matrixed functional areas and stakeholdersPreferred education:Bachelors Degree is preferred, High School Diploma requiredWe will consider additional experience in lieu of q degree.The essential physical environmental requirements of the position are:Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. without assistance.Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer and perform repetitive tasks.Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them.Ability to visually understand distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and have color vision.MooreCo Inc. is a leader in the educational and commercial markets for visual communication products, technology support equipment, and office furniture.We are guided by our Core Values:Have FUN at work!Extreme Customer CareMake it PersonalVision
