Senior .NET Developer (Hybrid | Oklahoma City, OK)Location: Hybrid, Oklahoma City, OKExperience: 5-7 YearsEmployment Type: ContractWe are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications for the Teachers' Retirement System (TRS). This role is ideal for a highly skilled developer with expertise in modern application development, API integration, Angular development, and Microsoft technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#/.NET and Angular 16+Develop and maintain Web APIs, system integrations, and automation workflowsParticipate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deploymentWrite clean, secure, maintainable, and production-ready codePerform unit testing, code reviews, and submit pull requests for TRS staff reviewDevelop clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain a prioritized backlogCollaborate with technical staff, business analysts, QA teams, and project managersSupport and integrate with legacy systems and existing applicationsDocument technical solutions and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersRequired QualificationsTechnical Skills5-7 years of professional software development experienceStrong experience with C# .NETExperience developing and consuming Web APIsProficiency with Angular 16+Strong SQL development and database experienceExperience with Azure DevOpsExperience using Git for source controlKnowledge of secure coding practices and modern development frameworksExperience building interfaces, integrations, and automation solutionsProfessional SkillsStrong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practicesExperience with business process analysis and functional designAbility to develop clear user stories and define acceptance criteriaAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skillsProven ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal defectsEducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field preferredEquivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of TRS business rules and Pension Software SystemsExperience with legacy applications, architectures, and integrationsExperience working within government, retirement, financial services, or highly regulated environmentsWork EnvironmentHybrid schedule based in Oklahoma City, OKCandidates should be available to attend occasional on-site meetings as requiredTravel expenses will not be reimbursed separately and must be included as part of the contractor's bill rate
