AV Technician

We are seeking immediate assistance with large, commercial AV installation projects, locally. STARTING ASAP- 10/14 Night Shift 11pm-8AM $28-$30/hr Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio-visual systems, electrical knowledge, and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment for events and installations, ensuring high-quality performance and reliability. Duties - Set up and dismantle audio-visual equipment for events, including projectors, sound systems, and lighting. - Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on audio-visual systems to ensure optimal functionality. - Utilize mechanical knowledge to interpret schematics and diagrams for installation and repairs. - Employ hand tools and electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters to diagnose issues. - Collaborate with clients to understand their audio-visual needs and provide technical support during events. - Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve any technical issues that may arise during operations. - Work with low voltage systems in accordance with safety standards and regulations. - Provide field service support as needed for installations or repairs at various locations. Qualifications - Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician or similar role. - Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics effectively. - Proficiency in using voltmeters and other electrical testing tools. - Familiarity with software troubleshooting related to audio-visual equipment. - Knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation (E & I) principles is preferred. - Experience working with hand tools and low voltage systems. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to telecommunicate effectively with team members and clients.
