As the Junior AV Field Technician, you will support audiovisual operations across U.S. Secret Service (USSS) field offices and National Special Security Events nationwide. In this role, you will assist in AV installations, preventive maintenance, and equipment setup and teardown, working alongside experienced AV professionals to ensure mission-critical systems perform reliably in high-security federal environments.Duties To IncludeSupport installation, setup, and teardown of AV systems at USSS field offices and National Special Security Events (NSSEs) across the countryAssist in the performance of Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) on AV equipment and systemsTroubleshoot and resolve basic AV equipment and system issues in coordination with senior techniciansInstall, terminate, and connect AV equipment including displays, video wall panels, audio systems, and associated cabling (analog and digital)Travel to U.S. Secret Service field offices and event locations nationwide to support AV operations and event-based deploymentsMaintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities in support of site documentationManage and maintain inventories of installed equipment and spare parts at assigned locationsFollow all security protocols, access procedures, and clearance requirements applicable to federal government facilitiesRequirementsExperience: 0-2 year of experience in AV installation, maintenance, or technical supportClearance: Active Secret clearance requiredPreferred (not required) Certifications: Avixa CTS, CAVT, or equivalent AV certificationExperience terminating and connecting both analog and digital AV signal typesAbility and willingness to travel nationwide to USSS field offices and event locationsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights required for equipment installationValid driver’s license and clean driving recordAbility to work in federal government environments and adhere to applicable security requirementsBenefitsThe company offers the following benefits to permanent, full-time employees:Paid Time Off (PTO)Group health plansIncome protection and supplemental benefits401(k) plan with company matchingHealth Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Pet insurance optionsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Digital Consultants, an inclusive and welcoming company, is fully committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), genetic information, national origin, age (40 or older), disability, Veterans status or any other protected characteristic.We provide reasonable accommodations to individuals who need assistance during any part of the employment process.
