Job # : 26-00420Job Title : IT Program ManagerJob Location : Columbia, SC 29219Travel Required : NoOvertime Required : NoPosition Type : ContractJob Description :DPP is seeking an IT Program Manager for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.Work location: Partial Onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite, and as needed.Duration: 12 monthsTerm: W2 positionPosition summary:Responsible for overall delivery of ServiceNow module implementations using the ServiceNow Project Management tool (Strategic Portfolio Management).Working in SPM to assign and track user stories and tasks in an Agile environment while maintaining project plan, timeline, budget and all auditable artifacts in other appropriate formats.Delivers on time, within budgeted hours with quality products.Monitors tasks, assignments and hours daily.Compiles and delivers clear communications and status reports.Ensures resources are assigned appropriately and escalates as needed.Tracks key milestones and adjusts project plans to meet the needs of work effort.Responsible for leading the project from inception to final business acceptance and implementation, providing excellent customer service along the way.Required technologies:MS ProjectPreferred:PMP CertificationNice to have:ServiceNowSoft skills:Ability to work with high-thinking architects and translate their ideas into actionable tasks to complete the goal.Exceptional communications skills at all levels.Superior leadership skills, and not afraid to drive the work.Problem solving and conflict management/resolution skills.Organized, attention to detail.Ability to understand customers' requirements and lead the team in implementing solutions to meet their needs while staying within budget and timeline.Advanced ability to prepare and present formal presentations to senior management.Proven ability to manage all phases of work effort from inception to completion.Strategic thinking skills.About the team:The team is the Enterprise Delivery Services/Project Management Service/ServiceNow Portfolio. This portfolio (4 other PMs) focuses solely on the implementation of ServiceNow, a multi-million-dollar, three-year effort with lots of work on the horizon.The team works in a co-located space with the entire ServiceNow team, including Design, Development and PMO, so PMs have close proximity to the team.The team is close-knit, with periodic happy hours and lunches.Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday is required. 40 hours/week. Possibly weekends during deployments (a few times a year).Required work experience:7 years of IT experience in a leadership capacity, including 4 years leading multiple concurrent project teams.Completion of the company's Training Program for Project Management may substitute for one year of experience.Required education/equivalencies:Bachelor's degree;OR, Associates plus 2 years of work-related experience;OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 11 years without a degree)
