About the CompanyPaylow Staffing is hiring a Bookkeeper with experience in the trucking and logistics industry to support one of our growing U.S.-based clients.About the RoleThis role goes beyond general bookkeeping—you’ll be working with transportation-related financial workflows, including freight invoicing, driver-related expenses, and operational cost tracking. We’re looking for someone who already understands how money flows in a trucking/logistics environment and can step in with minimal training.ResponsibilitiesManage Accounts Payable & Accounts ReceivableProcess invoices tied to loads, shipments, and service agreementsReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and operational expensesTrack and organize fuel, maintenance, tolls, and route-related costsAssist with driver payments and expense validationMaintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks or similar systemsGenerate reports such as Profit & Loss, cash flow, and expense summariesCoordinate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and consistency QualificationsProven bookkeeping experience within trucking, logistics, or transportationStrong understanding of high-volume transactions and operational expensesExperience with QuickBooks (or similar accounting platforms)Advanced proficiency in ExcelHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlines Required SkillsExperience supporting carriers, dispatch teams, or logistics operationsFamiliarity with rate-based billing, load tracking, and cost allocationExperience handling large volumes of invoices and reconciliationsStrong problem-solving and discrepancy resolution skills
