Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Plumbing Journeyman to join our team. The Plumbing Journeyman will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of plumbing codes, tools, and equipment.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experience Valid Plumbing Journeyman license Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skillsResponsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with relevant codes Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues Collaborate with contractors and other team members to ensure efficient completion of projects Estimate materials and labor costs Adhere to safety standards and regulations Provide excellent customer service at all timesPhysical Requirements Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials Ability to work in confined spaces and at various heights Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Stamina to handle the physical demands of the jobWork EnvironmentThe Plumbing Journeyman will work in both indoor and outdoor settings, often in tight and cramped spaces. They may be exposed to various weather conditions as well as loud noises. Proper safety gear must be worn at all times.
