Plumbing Journeyman

Job Description Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Journeyman to join our team. The Plumbing Journeyman will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of plumbing codes, tools, and equipment.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent experienceValid Plumbing Journeyman licenseAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsResponsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with relevant codesInspect plumbing systems and identify issuesCollaborate with contractors and other team members to ensure efficient completion of projectsEstimate materials and labor costsAdhere to safety standards and regulationsProvide excellent customer service at all timesPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift heavy equipment and materialsAbility to work in confined spaces and at various heightsGood manual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationStamina to handle the physical demands of the jobWork Environment:The Plumbing Journeyman will work in both indoor and outdoor settings, often in tight and cramped spaces. They may be exposed to various weather conditions as well as loud noises. Proper safety gear must be worn at all times.
