("AEGIS") has an immediate opening for an Operations Senior Analyst who supports the day-to-day operations of accounts payable and accounts receivable and provides service to internal customers and external vendors.Job Requirements:Minimum 2 years of accounts payable or accounts receivable experienceUndergraduate degree in accounting, business or related field desiredAbility to investigate and resolve accounts payable and accounts receivable issuesApplied knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounts receivable and payable process flowsProficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically ExcelExperience with Workday Financials, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar financial systems a plusCandidate Attributes:Collaborative Communications and Behavior: Develops and maintains effective working relationships as a team member and across divisions; readily collaborates and shares information, seeks and provides constructive feedback, and supports a respectful workplaceInitiative and Accountability: Proactively addresses opportunities to enhance AEGIS' people, processes, products, and services, takes ownership for one's responsibilities by acting with integrity and in the best interest of the organization and stakeholdersQuality-Focused: Demonstrates a solution-focus, displays thoroughness and accuracy through quality deliverables, and demonstrates persistence and perseverance in achieving concrete and tangible outcomesService-Oriented: Conveys a genuine desire and ability to anticipate and meet customer needs and creates and nurtures mutually beneficial relationships within AEGIS and with AEGIS Members and brokersEssential Job Functions:Operations and ReportingAccounts Payable:Monitor daily A/P payment and T&E reimbursement requests for timely and accurate processing and cash settlement, and verify that the requests follow the proper approval flowsProcess overflow A/P payment and T&E reimbursement requests and serve as backupEnsure that internal and external customers are highly satisfied with our serviceReview supplier invoice and expense journal activity to ensure accurate coding to the general ledgerAccounts Receivable:Monitor daily cash receipts, cash application and unapplied cashHelp investigate and research unidentified cash received; troubleshoot more complex scenariosProcess overflow A/R activities and serve as backupReview A/R journal activity to ensure accurate coding to the general ledgerEnsure that internal and external customers are highly satisfied with our serviceQuality Assurance and Continuous ImprovementAssist with maintaining procedures for A/P and A/R processesHelp test and implement disbursement authority and T&E policy changes in WorkdaySupport research, assessment, testing and implementation of Workday enhancementsLook for any other opportunities for business process improvementSupport strong control environment with proper segregation of dutiesCollaboration and Team SupportInteract with staff and management of various levels, from various divisionsSystem Maintenance and OptimizationHelp identify, investigate, and resolve any issues related to Workday; escalate issues as appropriateSupport the testing for Workday new releases and Workday projects, leveraging automated testing available through our testing softwarewww.aegislink.comEOEAEGIS Insurance Services, Inc. participates in E-VerifyWe expect to pay a starting salary between $80,000 and $85,000. An applicant's placement within this range is based on their individual qualifications and professional experience.
