Student Worker - Student Success Center (starting Summer 2026)

The Student Success Center student worker provides friendly customer service while also supporting the daily office operations of the Student Success Center staff.Education & Experience RequirementsEducation required:Must be an enrolled JALC student, with a minimum of 6 credit hours in the fall and spring semestersMust maintain a minimum 2.0 GPAHave a high school diplomaHave a FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid officeOther requirements:Must have excellent communication skillsMust handle confidential information responsiblyMust be professional and reliableEssential Functions & Position DutiesGeneral secretarial duties - filing, data entry, making copies, organizing materials, helping maintain clean and orderly workspaces, managing supplies, preparing packetsGeneral receptionist duties - greet visitors, answer phones, answer questions, give information to studentsAssist faculty and staff with projects and event preparationGuide students in using campus systems and/or equipmentMonitor labs and/or study areasAssist students with the snack locker, pantry, and multi-faith roomNon-Essential Functions of the PositionOther duties as assigned. Duties must be performed on the John A.
