Senior Information Technology Project Manager

The Panther Group is seeking a W2 Contract (long term, multi-year) highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support large-scale, enterprise technology initiatives for a leading university in Boston, MA. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, hands-on project leader with deep experience managing complex IT programs, cross-functional teams, and enterprise system implementations.This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite in Boston each week and is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.Kind Note: This role does not support Visas (OPT, H1B, etc.) and does not support C2C or third party recruiters. What You’ll Do:Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, enterprise IT projects across multiple departmentsManage projects involving:CRMERPCloud systemsInfrastructureData integrationDevelop and manage:Project plansScopeTimelinesBudgetsResource allocationDrive organizational readiness, change management, and post-go-live stabilizationConduct risk assessments and proactively manage mitigation strategiesServe as primary liaison between:Technical teamsBusiness stakeholdersExecutive leadershipPresent project status, risks, and performance metrics to governance groupsLead cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure successful project outcomesTrack financials, project milestones, and overall delivery performanceWhat You'll Bring:8–10+ years of progressive IT project management experienceProven success delivering large, complex enterprise technology projectsStrong experience with:Cross-functional leadershipStakeholder managementOrganizational changeEnterprise systems implementationDeep knowledge of:AgileWaterfallHybrid project methodologiesExperience with project tools such as:MS ProjectJiraSmartsheetServiceNowStrong business and technology alignment skillsExcellent communication, executive presentation, and leadership abilitiesBachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferredPreferred Qualifications:PMP, Agile, or PRINCE2 certificationExperience in higher education, healthcare, or large enterprise environmentsStrong background in digital transformation and enterprise change initiativesPay is $80-$97.90 per hour DOE
