With an average daily census of 25, this position offers 24-hour shifts, providing essential coverage for the facility. The staffing model includes 12 hours of in-person physician coverage during the day, complemented by 1 in-person Advanced Practice Clinician (APC). For night shifts, Telehealth APC coverage is provided, with a physician available on-call for backup support. The facility boasts a 9-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and excitingly, it is expanding to 15 beds in April. This expansion will result in increased APC coverage, with 1 physician during the day and 2 APCs during the day. Moreover, the nighttime coverage will transition from Telehealth to in-person presence, ensuring comprehensive care for patients. Board certification in Internal Medicine/Family Medicine is a requirement for this position. While candidates with 1-2 years of experience are preferred, the facility is open to considering individuals with a strong background in hospitalist care, regardless of their experience level.
