Manufacturing Plant Manager

We are working on a search on behalf of a fast-growing manufacturing organization seeking a Plant Manager to lead and scale operations across a multi-department production environment.Our client is a rapidly growing, operationally focused business with a strong emphasis on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. The organization is investing in leadership to drive performance across production, improve throughput, and build a high-performing, accountable team.The RoleThis is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production operations across multiple functions, including assembly, machining, and shipping.The Plant Manager will own production scheduling, workforce planning, and overall operational performance, with full accountability for output, efficiency, and departmental P&L.You will lead a team of supervisors and operators, drive performance through KPIs, and partner cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, and sales to ensure customer commitments are met.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the floor, enjoys building teams, and wants to make a direct impact on operational performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Leadership & ExecutionLead day-to-day production operations across multiple departments to ensure safety, quality, and efficiencyDevelop and manage production schedules to align resources with customer demandDrive on-time delivery and overall operational performancePerformance Management & KPIsEstablish and track key performance indicators including on-time delivery, labor efficiency, and quality metricsDrive accountability and continuous improvement across the production floorFinancial & Operational OwnershipOwn department P&L, including labor, materials, and operational costsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase profitabilityTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop supervisors and production staffBuild a high-performance, accountable, and safety-focused cultureCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with supply chain, engineering, and sales to ensure seamless execution of customer ordersAlign production capabilities with business needs and growth objectivesSafety & ComplianceEnsure adherence to safety standards, PPE requirements, and operational best practicesMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant production environmentExperience & Profile5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production managementProven ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and drive performance in a fast-paced environmentStrong understanding of production operations, logistics, and supply chain coordinationExperience managing budgets and operating with P&L responsibilityHands-on leadership style with strong floor presenceExperience with ERP systems and production scheduling tools preferredBackground in millwork, cabinetry, or similar manufacturing environments is a plusMicro-Cap Solutions and our client are equal opportunity employers and are committed to building diverse and inclusive teams.
