Senior Manufacturing Engineer

YER HR Solutions is representing the search for a highly driven Senior Manufacturing Engineer supporting next-generation aerospace and defense propulsion systems.This is a hands-on, high-visibility engineering role operating at the intersection of manufacturing, design, testing, and mission execution. You will help develop and scale advanced turbine engine production processes supporting critical national defense applications.If you thrive in fast-moving environments, enjoy solving complex production challenges, and want your work tied directly to cutting-edge defense technology, this opportunity deserves your attention.What You’ll Be DrivingLead manufacturing engineering initiatives supporting advanced aerospace propulsion systemsDevelop and optimize assembly processes, work instructions, tooling, and production workflowsDrive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and throughputOwn manufacturing solutions from concept through validation and implementationSupport production build activities directly on the manufacturing floorEstablish and track key production metrics including takt time, cycle time, yield, and throughputPartner cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Test teamsLead root cause investigations and implement corrective actionsSupport production scalability in a rapidly evolving manufacturing environmentMentor technicians and junior engineers while helping establish manufacturing engineering best practicesWhat Makes You A Strong FitBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within complex hardware or high-performance production environmentsStrong hands-on engineering mindset with the ability to move between strategy and executionExperience with lean manufacturing, process improvement, and production optimizationFamiliarity with ERP, PLM, and MES systemsWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 environmentsComfortable operating in fast-paced organizations where initiative and problem solving are highly valuedU.S. Citizenship required due to program access restrictionsHighly Valued ExperienceGas turbine engine or aerospace propulsion experienceRotating equipment manufacturing experienceWindchill, Creo, or related PTC PLM toolsAerospace, aviation, or defense manufacturing backgroundWhy Engineers Are Interested in This OpportunityThis is an opportunity to influence manufacturing strategy during a critical growth phase, while supporting advanced aerospace and defense technologies with real-world mission impact.
