Focused on sustainability and high-performance compute, they design, build, own, and operate critical infrastructure supporting the future of AI and advanced computing.The Maintenance Manager plays a key leadership role within a large-scale data centre campus environment, overseeing skilled multi-disciplinary teams across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and facilities operations. Working closely with engineering, construction, and contractor partners, this individual will help drive operational excellence, uptime, safety, and continuous improvement across mission-critical infrastructure.Key RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferredMinimum 8 years’ experience within critical infrastructure operations such as data centres, substations, industrial power, manufacturing, or similar environmentsMinimum 5 years’ leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams within a 24/7 mission-critical environmentStrong understanding of electrical safety practices including LOTO and energized work controlsExperience planning and executing complex work within high-risk, uptime-sensitive environmentsStrong communication skills with the ability to provide clear operational and executive-level updatesExperience supporting MV/HV power systems including switchgear, breakers, transformers, substations, switching and energisation activities preferredWorking knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA requirements, and high-risk work planning preferredExperience managing PM/CM programmes, CMMS systems, backlog management, and asset reliability initiatives preferredFamiliarity with BMS, EPMS, SCADA, or DCIM monitoring platforms preferredResponsibilitiesChampion a zero-compromise safety culture across all operations and contractor activitiesEnsure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, LOTO, energized work controls, and permitting processesMaintain operational excellence across critical infrastructure systems including HV substations, UPS, generators, switchgear, power monitoring, cooling systems, and advanced liquid cooling technologiesLead coordinated responses to alarms, trips, and system failures while maintaining uptime and reliabilityOwn maintenance execution including preventative and corrective maintenance planning, work order quality, audits, and documentationLead and develop a 24/7 operations workforce, setting clear expectations and accountability standardsManage contractor and vendor relationships including scheduling, safety compliance, and quality assuranceSupport commissioning, energisation, and expansion projects in partnership with engineering and construction teamsMaintain operational procedures, permits, switching plans, equipment logs, and incident documentation
