You'll review team deliverables for accuracy and timeliness, support audits and tax compliance, and partner closely with finance leadership to improve processes and internal controls.Leadership & OversightProvide day‑to‑day oversight, coaching, and development of accounting staffSupport team prioritization and performance in a high‑volume environmentReinforce consistency, accuracy, and adherence to established accounting processesAccounting OperationsMaintain the monthly close calendar and checklist to ensure timely closeEnsure accurate and timely recording of daily accounting transactionsReview journal entries, reconciliations, and financial activity for accuracy and complianceMaintain working knowledge of the company's ERP system and support system processesReporting & AnalysisPrepare and review monthly financial statements and department‑level reportingAnalyze financial results and support FP&A with variance analysis and explanationsEnsure accurate and timely annual 1099 reportingPrepare reports required by regulatory agenciesAudit, Tax & ComplianceSupport third‑party tax preparers and respond to audit and tax inquiriesWork directly with external auditors to provide documentation and supportProcess Improvement & CollaborationResearch new GAAP guidance and assist with implementationDocument and maintain accounting processes for scalability and consistencyIdentify and drive opportunities for process improvements and standardizationCollaborate cross‑functionally to support financial operations and business needsSupport the Senior Director of Finance and CFO with reporting and special projectsWhat You Bring to the TeamEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in accounting or business4–6 years of accounting experience1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in an accounting environmentExperience supporting process improvements or system/project implementationsPreferred:Experience in a Professional Services or Managed Services environmentCertified Public Accountant (CPA)Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong understanding of GAAP and accounting principlesExperience with ERP systems (Dynamics SL, SAP, Oracle, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentProven discretion in handling sensitive financial informationWhy This Role MattersAs a Supervisor, Accounting, you won't just close the books — you'll help shape how the accounting function scales, operates, and delivers value to the business.
