Accounting ManagerOverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support key financial initiatives across the organization. This role plays a critical part in month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis while partnering closely with operations and divisional teams.The ideal candidate brings 3-7 years of progressive accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-division environment.The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing daily accounting functions while supporting financial initiatives at the facility level. This role contributes to accurate financial reporting, reconciliation, variance identification, and root cause analysis.In addition, the Accounting Manager supports annual budgeting processes and oversees key accounting functions, including payroll, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze financial data within accounting systems to ensure accuracy and reasonablenessSupport operations managers and divisional accounting clerks with accounting-related tasks and guidanceOversee accounts payable invoice processing performed by divisional accounting clerksReview payroll data provided by divisions and prepare payroll journal entriesPrepare internal monthly financial statements for individual entities and assist with consolidated reporting for the parent companyManage daily banking activities and support accounting clerks with daily depositsParticipate in assigned projects under the direction of the TreasurerPerform additional duties as assigned to support business and financial objectivesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business field3-7 years of progressively responsible accounting experienceCPA certification strongly preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skillsSolid technical accounting knowledge relevant to assigned responsibilitiesAbility to work effectively with all levels of management and support staffProven ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficientlyStrong problem-solving and conflict management skillsWillingness to travel as business needs requireThe base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
