Industrial Maintenance Technician
Full-Time | On-Site | Monday–Friday (7:30 – 4:00, with flexibility as needed)
Position Overview
Weitron is seeking a highly skilled and self‑driven Maintenance Technician to support and continually improve the performance of our advanced manufacturing operation. This individual will play a key role in maintaining complex automated systems, troubleshooting plantwide equipment, and ensuring optimal production uptime in a fast‑paced environment.
The ideal candidate is an experienced industrial technician with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of multi‑disciplinary systems, and the ability to collaborate effectively across production, engineering, and contractor teams.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Develop mastery in the operation, diagnostics, and maintenance of all plantwide machinery, including:
Autonomous Robotic Material Handling and Conveying Systems
PLC‑Integrated Precision Aerosol Filling Lines
Specialized Gas House Packaging Systems
PLC‑Based Chemical Pumping and Transfer Stations
Additional facility‑wide mechanical, electrical, and automated equipment
Perform expert‑level troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation‑related failures to rapidly resolve downtime and quality issues – conducting root-cause investigations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Perform preventative maintenance at defined intervals, ensuring the facility remains compliant with all safety and quality standards.
Identify and source components for complex or custom repairs in the event a standard spare part would not be usable or is not available.
Required Experience & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Problem-solving mindset, and self-motivated drive.
Hands‑on experience diagnosing, repairing, or replacing: liquid pumps, vapor compressors, electric motors, vacuum pumps, weigh scales, filling stations, automated conveyor systems, checkweighers, case erectors, industrial robots, sensors, and associated wiring systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting systems (electrical, pneumatic, mechanical).
Demonstrated reliability, consistent attendance, and a strong commitment to learning and professional growth.
Must successfully pass reference checks and a criminal background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
