Equipment Technician
Objective: Provide equipment technician services to customers in a safe, cost effective, timely, and professional manner.ResponsibilitiesInspect, diagnose, service, and repair air and electric pumps in accordance with company and manufacturer standardsPerform light vehicle maintenance on company service trucks, including oil changes, tire rotation, and basic inspectionsTroubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacementsMaintain accurate service, inspection, and maintenance recordsFollow all safety, environmental, and compliance proceduresAssist with equipment installation, testing, and preventive maintenance activitiesMaintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe conditionCollaborate with operations and branch teams to support daily service needsPerform other duties consistent with the role of Equipment Service Technician as assignedOther related tasks as assigned by managerBasic RequirementsReside withing reasonable commuting distanceMinimum age 21Must have a Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record2+ years of experience in a similar positionMechanical aptitudeBe motivated, good work ethic, safety-oriented and have good communication skillsAble to work overtime and occasional weekends if neededHave a professional appearance and demeanorMay be subject to comply with site specific drug testing requirements which may include hair follicle drug testingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and work with tools for extended periodsAbility to work in shops, yards, and outdoor environments as requiredAbility to read and follow technical manuals, instructions, and safety proceduresStrong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and reliabilityAble to pass a DOT physical or "Fit for Duty" physical examAble to pass a driving test hauling a utility trailerPreferredCDLPrior hands-on experience servicing pumps, engines, or similar equipmentExperience in equipment maintenance, service technician, automotive, industrial, or mechanical environmentsAt RelaDyne, you’ll find more than just a job-you’ll discover a career with a company that values people, teamwork, and growth.
