Job DescriptionA fast-growing and esteemed Developer in the area is looking for a Director of Construction. This Developer has a national backlog of Retail and Multifamily projects valued up to $50M. This company has been in business for over 50 years, and continues to see success and growth year after year. If you are a results-driven professional with a passion for excellence inconstruction management - we want to hear from you!Director of Construction Responsibilities:Direct the overall planning and development of new project activities and the activities of all current projectsManage the budgets of all projectsOversee all PM's and their projectsAdvise the client and other project team members concerning base building and internal project management. Evaluate and critique the progress of design development, budget, and scheduleAssist in Developing conceptual estimates utilizing market dataDetermine quantities of materials during early stages of the designDevelop scopes of work for all project related tradesDirector of Construction Qualifications:B.S. in Construction Management or a Related Degree is Strongly Preferred, but Extensive Work-Related Experience will be considered10+ Years Project Management and Estimating experience in Commercial ConstructionExcellent Interpersonal and Communication SkillsDemonstrated leadership experienceProficiency in the Development of Commercial Construction ProjectsIf you are interested in this position apply online or submit your resume and project list to Julie.lee@gogpac.com.
