Operating in both the private and federal sectors, Ocean Construction Services has built a strong reputation for quality and reliability.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site Project Manager role based in Virginia Beach, VA. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing complex construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Responsibilities include managing project schedules, handling logistics, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, supervising inspections, and collaborating with clients and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will align with the company’s core values and contribute to maintaining high project delivery standards.QualificationsStrong Project Management skills with experience in planning, coordinating, and managing construction projects.Knowledge and experience in Expediting and Logistics Management to ensure timely delivery of materials and efficient project timelines.Proficiency in Inspection processes to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with construction software such at P6, Project, Procore and other technologies is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Experience working on federal or private sector construction projects is highly desirable.Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.Experience executing contracts with NAVFAC, USACE, Coast Guard & other Federal Entities.
