This is a full-time contract position at a nationally recognized hospital located in Sacramento , CA. " This is a travel position located in Sacramento, CA. Candidate must live 50+ from the facility." Traveler Hrly Rate $34.86Gross Wages $1,254.96Traveler Lodging $770.00Travel M&I $476.00Total Travel Stipend $1,246.00Total Travel Pkg $2,500.96 • Shift: 12hr shift 8am start time weekend required • Start Date: 2/4/26 • Contract Length: 90 days The Diagnostic Technologist Outpatientprimary responsibilities include, the positioning of the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot or ankle in preparation for x-ray. The Diagnostic Technologist performs imaging procedures at a level not requiring direct supervision, operates X-ray equipment, processes images and documents into PACS. The Diagnostic Technologist provides basic patient care under the supervision of the clinic nurse. They may perform selected procedures as defined in the Patient Care Standards Manual. Patient care would include: obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, obtaining specimens including blood draws if qualified, preparing patients for clinician evaluation, and assisting clinician. The Outpatient Diagnostic Technologist will also see that the area is orderly and well stocked with supplies and equipment. May also float to Main Radiology as needed. Must have:- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)- Current CPR Certification- California issued Fluoroscopy Permit- Current ARRT licensure- EPIC EMR experience- Previous traveler experience perferred X-Ray Technician Qualification and Requirements: • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or a related program • Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) • American Heart Association BLS for Heath Care Providers • An active, current state license • 1+ years' experience as an X-Ray Technician • Additional certifications may be required.Benefits We Offer: • Competitive pay rates, Referral opportunities, Comprehensive health, prescription, dental, vision, life, and disability plans, Travel reimbursement and per diem allowances, Employee discounts, Educational opportunities, and more!
