ResponsibilitiesSafety Manager | Port Washington, WIAs a Safety Manager in Port Washington, WI, you'll play a key role in building and leading a culture where safety isn't just a priority-it's a core value. You'll be responsible for driving best-in-class safety practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and making sure every worker goes home safe every day.HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Professional committed to continuous improvement and ongoing professional development to support our commercial construction projects by leading all on-site safety operations. This is a high-impact role for a safety professional who is passionate about protecting people, strengthening safety culture, and maintaining the highest standards of compliance.Lead and oversee all aspects of safety operations on active commercial construction projectsEnsure full OSHA compliance and implementation of company safety policies and proceduresConduct daily safety meetings, site audits, and inspectionsComplete accident reports and lead accident and incident investigationsMonitor and oversee all subcontractors and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standardsManage and enforce safety programs related to Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and ExcavationProactively identify hazards and implement corrective actions before incidents occurPresent safety updates, findings, and recommendations to project leadership and senior stakeholdersQualificationsMinimum 7 years of progressive, hands-on construction safety experience demonstrating continuous professional development, advanced OSHA compliance expertise, and a proven track record of measurable safety performance improvementsDegree in a safety related field.OSHA 510 and or 500 a plusCHST requiredAdvance knowledge of construction safety standardsStrong knowledge in civil, electrical, concrete, crane picks, and working at heights.Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex safety concepts clearly and confidently engage senior executives and project leadershipExceptional emotional intelligence with the proven ability to deliver constructive, blame-free feedback and drive solution-oriented safety improvementsA confident, field-focused leader who can influence teams and drive positive safety behaviorsEmbody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, AccountabilityOverviewHazTek Safety Management, an industry-leading safety partner with over 25 years of expertise, provides comprehensive, cutting-edge safety solutions since 1997.
