A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work in telemetry unit caring for adults to geriatric patients • Patient ratio of 1:4-5 in a 36-room unit with average daily census of 35 • Every other weekend schedule required • Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed • No call requirements • Holiday work expected based on assignment period (see holiday policy) • Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (NIH preferred) • Must have Epic charting system experience • Navy blue scrubs required • Maximum 7 days RTO allowed (Spring Break blackout dates: April 4th-12th) • Care for patients with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypertension/hypotension, pleural effusion, sepsis, PE/DVT/vascular issues • Must be able to manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration including milrinone, dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lidocaine, Bumex, and Heparin • Skills required include telemetry monitoring, post cardiac procedures, IV insulin protocols, wound care, tracheostomy care, and blood product administration • 12 hours of orientation provided • Full compliance required to start on time Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive telemetry unit providing specialized cardiac monitoring and care services.
