Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,052 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Oncology Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting. This role involves managing patients with oncology-related conditions , requiring strong clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a patient-centered approach. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to pediatric oncology patients Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses Administer medications, chemotherapy, IV infusions, and blood products Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments Identify changes in patient condition and intervene promptly Educate patients and families on treatment plans and hospital procedures Coordinate care and communicate with multidisciplinary teams Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate Requirements: Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Pediatric and/or Oncology preferred) Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and patient care techniques Ability to work in a high-acuity, emotionally sensitive environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer proficiency Education: Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Certifications & Licensure: Active RN License (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or Compact License – eNLC) BLS (AHA) – Required ACLS (AHA) – Required PALS (AHA) – Required APHON Chemotherapy Certification – Required ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration – Required About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
