The Modeling, Analytics, and Simulation Sciences (MASS) Operation is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer to support our customers at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC). Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is a rapidly growing field in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Communities. As a member of our engineering team, you will work alongside engineers and software developers to develop authoritative engineering models that contribute to our nation's defense. Positions are expected to be Onsite in Dayton, OH.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or related technical fieldMinimum of 3 years of relevant experienceStrong knowledge of SysML for modeling architectures and system behaviorsProficiency with MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain models, artifacts, and integrated datasets for complex systems and systems of systemsAbility to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment, including internal staff, external contractors, and government customersStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce and present technical documentation and artifactsActive TS/SCI security clearanceJob RequirementsJob Requirements and Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree in STEM* Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and SysML ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Engineering field or related certifications such as OCSMP Certifications, INCOSE CSEP, or Project Management PMP (among others)Knowledge of SysML 2.0Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C++, or PythonExperience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), or other architecture frameworks.Ability to analyze architecture and engineering data to solve complex problems, recommend solutions, and improve products and processesKnowledge of aerospace/defense systems and processesKnowledge of modeling and simulation (M&S) tools and practicesSecurity Clearance Requirements:Must have an active TS/SCI Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.Education Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline.Other Requirements:Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain and hold an active Security ClearanceWe are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
