Model-Based System Engineer (MBSE) TC/SCI
Job Description:An established engineering services organization supporting federal and defense initiatives is seeking an experienced Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to contribute to advanced modeling, analytics, and simulation efforts. This role involves working on mission-critical programs that support national defense initiatives, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and software development teams.The position is fully onsite in Dayton, OH and focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing system models and engineering artifacts for complex systems and systems-of-systems environments. You will play a key role in building structured models that support analysis, design, and decision-making processes.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain system models using MBSE methodologiesCreate architecture models and represent system behavior using SysMLCollaborate with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to integrate modeling effortsProduce and present technical documentation and engineering artifactsAnalyze system data to support design decisions and improve system performanceContribute to modeling and simulation initiatives within defense-focused programsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related STEM fieldMinimum of 3 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or MBSEStrong proficiency in SysML and MBSE tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or Enterprise ArchitectExperience developing models and supporting artifacts for complex systemsActive TS/SCI security clearanceStrong communication skills and ability to work in collaborative environmentsPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in an engineering disciplineIndustry certifications such as OCSMP, INCOSE CSEP, or PMPFamiliarity with SysML 2.0Programming experience in Java, C++, or PythonExperience with DoDAF, UAF, or other architecture frameworksBackground in aerospace or defense systemsExperience with modeling and simulation tools and methodologiesKey Skills Required:Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)SysML Modeling & Architecture DevelopmentSystems Analysis & Technical DocumentationCollaboration in Cross-Functional Teams
