BTE Modification, Pack & Ship Technician
OverviewThe BTE Modification Pack and Ship Technician is responsible for assembling options for a new BTE hearing aid, invoicing, packing and shipping the order. This role ensures hearing aids meet quality and performance standards before being shipped to customers. This position supports daily manufacturing operations by adhering to standardized procedures, maiting a clean work environment, and ensuring all products meet strict regulatory and company quality requirements. This position requires working on-site in our Somerset, NJ office 5 days per week from 11:30am-8:00pm.ResponsibilitiesAssemble hearing aids using small tools and equipment.Install speakers, domes, battery door markers, battery door replacement and tamper resistant battery door replacement to hearing aidsFollow detailed instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and production schedules.Perform basic inspections to verify component quality and ensure proper function.Identify and report issues such as defects, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and GMP standards.Support team productivity by participating in cross-training and continuous improvement activities.Meet assigned production goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).Comply with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
