Known for their collaborative approach and ability to deliver large-scale developments, the business continues to expand its presence across key markets, including Texas.They are now seeking a Director of Preconstruction to oversee the preconstruction business in Dallas , providing strategic leadership across estimating, cost planning, and early project engagement. This individual will work closely with executive leadership, operations teams, and clients to ensure projects are positioned for success from the earliest stages of development.The role requires a senior-level professional with a strong background in conceptual estimating and large-scale project pursuits , as well as a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing preconstruction teams .Key Responsibilities:• Oversee the preconstruction business for the Dallas market , providing leadership across estimating and early project strategy• Lead conceptual budgeting, cost planning, and estimating for complex commercial developments• Work closely with clients, architects, and design teams during early project phases• Provide strategic input on project feasibility, cost strategy, and value engineering• Lead and mentor the preconstruction and estimating team• Support major pursuits and help position projects for successful delivery• Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure alignment between preconstruction and project deliveryRequirements:• Strong background in conceptual estimating and cost planning for large-scale commercial developments• Proven experience leading preconstruction or estimating teams within a reputable general contractor• Experience working on complex ground-up projects• Ability to manage multiple pursuits and provide strategic oversight across several projects• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skillsCompensation:• Base Salary: $190k – $240k• Performance Bonus• 401k• Auto Allowance• Comprehensive Benefits PackageThis is an excellent opportunity for a senior preconstruction leader to take on a strategic role overseeing preconstruction operations in Dallas for a nationally respected contractor with a strong pipeline of work.
