A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 12-hour variable shifts with start times including 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM, 8:00 AM-8:00 PM, 9:00 AM-9:00 PM, and 10:00 AM-10:00 PM • Guaranteed 36 hours per week with 13-week contract length • Work every other weekend and every other holiday as applicable • Must be willing to float to medical/surgical unit and other Aspirus facilities including Merrill, Medford, Wausau, and Stanley • May be placed on call during low census hours with call back pay available (minimum 2 hours) • Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours • Must live outside a 50-mile radius from facility • Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC (Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications) • Minimum 2 years emergency department experience required • Epic charting experience required • Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred • Any color scrubs acceptable - facility provides scrubs but personal scrubs allowed • During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy Facility: This healthcare facility operates as an acute stroke ready hospital with trauma level 14 designation. The emergency department is budgeted for approximately 28 visits per day with seasonal variations, typically experiencing higher volume during summer months.
