You will receive a 15% shift differential for working on the night shift.Job DescriptionThe Production Assembler II is responsible for assembling electronic and electro‑mechanical components and subassemblies in a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical instructions, and proficiency in working with small parts and specialized tools.The Assembler II supports production goals by executing standard assembly processes, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with documented procedures. They may assist with troubleshooting, process improvements, and training of entry-level assemblers while working in a fast-paced, clean‑room environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly of electronic and electro‑mechanical components using established procedures and work instructionsAssemble small and delicate parts using hand tools, adhesives, fixtures, and mechanical fastenersRead and follow Bills of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and detailed work instructionsPerform microscope-based assembly work for extended periods, ensuring precision and qualitySupport polymer membrane assembly processes including alignment, attachment, and curing under guidanceOperate production equipment and tools according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)Conduct basic inspection and verification of completed assemblies to ensure adherence to specificationsDocument production activities, including work completed, issues identified, and process deviationsAssist with testing activities and basic functional checks of assembled componentsIdentify and escalate quality issues, material discrepancies, or process concerns to supervisors or engineeringMaintain clean‑room standards, including proper use of PPE and adherence to contamination control requirementsSafely handle chemicals such as solvents and adhesives in accordance with safety guidelinesSupport continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on processes and build challengesPerform tasks of Assembler I as needed and provide guidance to less experienced team membersWork EnvironmentWork is performed in a clean‑room environment requiring continuous use of PPE (smock, hairnet, gloves, etc.)Frequent microscope use (up to ~70–80% of shift depending on assignment)Requires reading and completing both written and electronic documentationMay involve repetitive tasks requiring steady manual dexterity and focusRegularly pushes/pulls 10–15 lbs. and lifts materials up to approximately 6 lbs.SkillsCommunication, Manufacturing Test, Microsoft Office, Production Troubleshooting, Product Testing, Schematic Analysis, Test Equipment Operation, Testing Techniques, Test Inspection, Test Specifications, Working IndependentlyEducation & ExperienceMinimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience. Pay may vary in other locations.
