Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Reports to: Maryville Procurement Manager Cooperates with: Welding, Fabrication, Substrate Assembly, Shipping Primary Responsibility: The shipping/receiving clerk assists the fabrication and welding teams in a manufacturing setting. The prepping of materials, accurate inventory counts, knowledge of parts' locations, receiving process, and staging job orders is essential in the flow of customer orders throughout the building as well as improves labor performance of departmental teams. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Learn and execute Shipping/Receiving processKnowledge of shop layout, parts locations, bin systemMove parts and pallets as needed for Fabrication, Welding, and Shipping/ReceivingUse forkliftRead and interpret part drawingsPerform catalyst finishing proceduresPackage finished catalyst product for both parcel and truck shipmentsUnderstand and interact with job tracking systemLoad and unload trucksOther duties as assigned Qualifications:High School DiplomaGood dexterity of handsAbility to handle metal parts and insulation and be physically sound for repetitive bending and liftingAbility to count, calculate, read warehouse map with bin locationsAbility to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervisionExcellent verbal communication skillsMust be able to lift up to 50 individually and heavier items with team liftKnowledge of safe workplace practicesPrior forklift experienceEqual Opportunity: MIRATECH is an equal opportunity employer and supports a diverse and inclusive workforce.
