Senior Associate/Associate Manager, Trade OperationsLocation: Palm Beach Gardens, FL | HybridAs an Entry-Level Associate, Trade Operations, you will support the day-to-day trade operations and post-trade functions for hedge fund clients through SS&C's partnership with Lighthouse Investment Partners, LLC (d/b/a Luminae Partners), an $18 billion AUM asset management firm. This role offers an excellent entry point into financial services with direct exposure to complex trading environments, multi-asset investment strategies, and institutional operations.You will work closely with portfolio managers, traders, counterparties, prime brokers, and internal operational teams to help ensure accurate trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting across a broad range of financial products. Our teams design, implement, and operate solutions that help clients manage data, automate processes, and scale their businesses with confidence.Through our partnership with Lighthouse Partners, you will gain exposure to sophisticated hedge fund strategies, institutional trading activity, and large-scale operational infrastructure while working alongside experienced industry professionals.Support daily trade operations activities for hedge fund clients across multiple investment strategies including Long/Short Equity, Global Macro, Credit, Fixed Income, Distressed, Emerging Markets, and Multi-Strategy fundsMonitor and process trade lifecycle events including trade capture, settlement, confirmation matching, and exception managementReconcile cash, positions, market values, and trade activity across internal systems, custodians, and prime brokersResearch and resolve trade breaks, settlement discrepancies, and operational exceptions in a timely mannerServe as a point of coordination between internal teams, counterparties, brokers, and fund administrators to ensure accurate and efficient trade processingProvide operational support across a variety of financial instruments including equities, fixed income, FX, futures, swaps, options, repos, and other OTC productsAssist with wire processing, collateral movements, and payment confirmations related to settlements and financing activityPrepare operational reporting and metrics related to trade volumes, reconciliation activity, and processing accuracyPartner with internal SS&C GlobeOp teams including Fund Accounting, Investor Services, Technology, and Operations to support overall client servicing effortsContribute to process improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, risk reduction, and scalability2+ years of experience in Trade OperationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related fieldInternship or academic exposure to financial markets, operations, accounting, or investment management preferredFoundational understanding of capital markets and financial productsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with large datasetsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentTeam-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skillsInterest in hedge funds, trade operations, and financial marketsAbility to learn quickly and adapt within a dynamic operational environmentSS&C Technologies offers a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your wellbeing, growth, and future.
