Job Title: Java Production Support DeveloperSalary / Pay Rate: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour W2 (Contract-to-Hire)Our client is seeking a Java Production Support Developer to help drive the stability, performance, and modernization of their core web applications. This role offers an opportunity to gain broad full-stack experience across a diverse suite of enterprise tools with a direct path to full-time internal conversion and remote work flexibility post-conversion.Here’s What You’ll Be DoingInvestigating and resolving production incidents across the entire application stack using root cause analysis (RCA) techniques.Designing and deploying high-quality code fixes, system enhancements, and critical patches for Java enterprise web applications.Optimizing and tuning Oracle database queries, backend APIs, and overall application performance to ensure high availability and uptime.Updating and maintaining user interface views and controller logic utilizing JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap frameworks.Automating and executing unit, integration, and regression testing using modern tools like Cucumber and Selenium to safeguard software reliability.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, DBAs, and QA engineers, to streamline release deployments and maintain thorough system documentation.Here’s What Our Ideal Candidate Has5+ years of total IT experience, including 3+ years specifically focused on Java web application development and production support.Hands-on mastery of Java 8/17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Oracle databases.Experience working with JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Maven, and Git/GitHub.Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD), along with Atlassian Jira and Confluence workflows.Must currently reside locally in the Greater Phoenix, AZ area and be eligible to convert directly to full-time employment without requiring present or future visa sponsorship.#AccessData
