Senior Supply Chain & Inventory Planning Contractor (Pharma / Biotech)

Remote – Western EuropeContract: 12‑month contractHours: Initially ~6 hours/day, ramping to full engagementWorking pattern: Core overlap with US & EU teams (approx. 12:00–18:00 or 13:00–19:00 CET)Please note: This role requires exclusivity due to the planned increase in hours.🧬 OverviewWe are working with a globally established pharmaceutical / biotech organisation with a strong US and European presence, commercial products on the market, and an expanding clinical and R&D pipeline.This is a hands‑on senior contractor role within the Supply Chain function, supporting global operations during a critical ERP transition and increased operational complexity. The successful contractor will be highly process‑driven, technically strong in SAP S/4HANA, and comfortable operating across cold‑chain pharma environments.🔑 Key ResponsibilitiesDay‑to‑day inventory planning and management across global supply chain operationsHands‑on use of SAP (S/4HANA) including standard T‑codes and MRP planningSupport a major ERP migration, with a strong focus on 3PL system integrationOwn and enhance existing supply chain dashboards, trackers, and tools (heavy Excel usage)Lead and resolve SAP vs 3PL reconciliations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actionsManage and coordinate external vendors and 3PL partners, ensuring service levels and data integritySupport cold‑chain supply operations (refrigerated/frozen products, biologics)Provide high‑quality input into QA documentation, working closely with Quality teamsCollaborate with global stakeholders across Europe and the US, including Specialty Pharmacy customers✅ Required Experience & ProfileWe are looking for experienced pharma supply chain contractors who can make an immediate impact:Strong SAP S/4HANA experience (essential)Solid background in inventory planning & supply chain operationsProven experience with ERP migrations and 3PL integrationsAdvanced Excel and process improvement capabilitiesExperience working with Cold Chain / temperature‑controlled pharma products (e.g. biologics)Vendor and 3PL management experience (owning performance, issues, and reconciliation)Preferably experience supporting Specialty Pharmacy customersPrior US-facing or truly global role experienceApprox. 5–6 years’ experience is suitableQuality‑oriented mindset, comfortable working in regulated environments📍 LocationRemote, with candidates based in Western EuropeStrong preference for candidates located in: UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, Netherlands (BV setup required), Belgium, or similar regions with global operational exposure💡 Why This Role?Join a stable, privately owned biotech/pharma organisation with marketed productsOpportunity to play a critical role in global supply chain transformationExposure to first‑in‑class therapies, rare disease portfolios, and advanced R&D programsLong‑term contract with increasing responsibility and scope📩 Interested?
