HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Charleston, South Carolina.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: PCU - Progressive Care UnitDiscipline: RNDuration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelHospital:Trident Medical CenterLocation: Charleston SCAddress:9330 Medical Plaza DriveUnit: PCU 63020Building: General InformationUnit Specifics:Number of Beds :27Patient Ratios :1:4 or 1:5Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :2-3 PCTs and 1 unit secretaryType of equipment :Documentation system: MeditechScheduling requirements: 3-12 hours shifts with EOW or 4 weekend shifts per scheduleFloating policy: Float to ICU to care for downgrades and ER Holding for patients waiting on bedsPatient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report is our method of patient hand offHospital Specifics-Certifications: BLS and ACLSHiring profileYears of Experience Required: Requested Skill Set: Must have: Ability to care for 4-5 PCU patients/ post cardiac procedures to include: PCI, PPM, ICD Ablations, CABG, TAVRS.Ability to care for patients with Traches, Chest Tubes, titrating drips, CIWA, and strokes. Proficient in reading telemetry strips.Time management to include plans of care every shift, collaboration with physicians and ancillary departments.
