We are seeking a candidate who has experience working with plants and knowledge of gardening.*We are hiring for Selby Ave (622 Selby Ave, Saint Paul) and West 7th Street (1500 West 7th Street, Saint Paul) store locations. These seasonal positions will be 4/20/2026 through 06/01/2026.*Plant Sale Staff will have a mandatory training on 04/15/26 from 9am - 12pm at our West 7th Street location.Schedule: The plant sale runs 8am-7pm. Current shifts available vary and include weekend hours.What Will I Do?As Plant Sale Lead you will provide excellent customer service, effective leadership, a positive and safe work environment, organized and efficient operations, and a visually appealing space. This position will also sign for plant deliveries as well as water and care for plants. Plant Sale Workers will work outdoors in spring weather conditions.Specific areas of accountability include customer service, event set up and break down, staff support and supervision (directing, coaching, training), operations and safety, and sustaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.Physical and Working Requirements:This position requires frequent standing as well as walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, stooping, pulling, fine motor manipulation, climbing (ladders), lifting of up to 60lbs, as well as the ability to move around our store and storage room, work in varying temperature conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
