Financial Analyst

ResponsibilitiesAssists in the annual budget process and develops monthly/quarterly forecasting models as well as supports cash and working capital forecasting initiativesPrepares presentation materials for Monthly and Quarterly Board of Directors meetingsAnalyzes trends and monitors key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures, and translates findings into actionable plansPerforms ad hoc data requests to support critical operational decision-makingDevelops financial models and analyzes to support strategic initiativesDrives continuous improvement in FP&A and cross-functional processes Leads cross-functional efforts with Sales, Procurement, R&D, and Operations to ensure customer satisfaction with products while maintaining efficiencies and profits Collaborates with the sales team to understand customer requirements on new and existing product offerings, as well as research and provide recommended actionsAssists with product sample requests, product information, price quotations, and freight quotations with a focus on responsiveness and accuracyPlans and modifies products to meet customer requirementsDevelops formula costing, costing analysis, and history of costing for specific itemsMaintains price book and customer contract booksCoordinates and helps manage new product introduction into the manufacturing systemExperienceAbility to interact with all levels of management, employees, and clientsStrong business acumen; able to articulate the impact of analysis, modeling, business decision support on key financial measures (i.e., Sales, Contribution Margin, Gross Profit, EBITDA, Working Capital, etc.)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize goalsAdvanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, charts, functions such as v-lookup, etc.) and PowerPoint skillsBachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or similar2+ years of experience in related finance field(s)
