Product Engineer

Reports to: Global Product Engineering Manager and Regional Lead Product EngineerPosition SummaryThe Product Engineer serves as the backbone of the Product Engineering organization, acting as a technical authority and key driver of product development, manufacturing feasibility, and customer satisfaction. This role bridges customer requirements, engineering design, and manufacturing execution to ensure products are technically sound, cost-effective, and aligned with industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and evaluate RFQs, customer prints, and technical requirements to determine product feasibility.Analyze designs for manufacturability, cost, risk, and compliance with internal and external standards.Develop accurate cost estimates for manufacturing, tooling, and secondary operations.Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and supporting technical documentation.Serve as a product and technical expert for assigned product families.Interpret and apply industry standards and customer-specific requirements.Support technical quoting activities in collaboration with Sales and Production.Provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle, from development through production and end of life.Act as a technical liaison between customers, manufacturing, quality, and sales teams.Assist in resolving technical issues, nonconformances, and customer concerns.Participate in design reviews, customer meetings, and internal technical presentations.Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and product knowledge within the organization.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field3 years manufacturing experienceStrong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with manufacturing environments is a plus.Additional Information:This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.
