Project Manager

This role focuses on leading large-scale engineering projects while ensuring successful delivery, technical excellence, and strong client relationships. You will serve as a senior Project Manager, overseeing multidisciplinary teams, managing project performance, and driving business development efforts while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.The position spans the full project lifecycle—from proposal development and planning to execution, quality control, financial management, and client engagement. You will collaborate closely with leadership, engineering teams, clients, and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and support organizational growth.Key Responsibilities:Serve as Project Manager for large and complex engineering projects across multiple disciplinesSupervise and manage assigned engineers, providing technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staffConduct peer reviews, technical oversight, and quality control of engineering design deliverablesManage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveryAdjust staffing and resource allocation as needed to meet deadlines and project requirementsOrganize and lead internal and external client meetings, ensuring clear communication and follow-through on action itemsCoordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and external stakeholders throughout project executionCollaborate with senior leadership on RFP responses, proposal development, cost estimation, and contract preparationDevelop and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and referralsOversee project accounting activities including setup, invoicing, and accounts receivable in compliance with company standardsParticipate in business development initiatives, trade events, and marketing activities to promote company servicesEnsure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements across all projectsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering requiredMinimum 15 years of progressive experience in mechanical or electrical engineering design and project managementProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredStrong experience in power, commercial, healthcare, or life sciences engineering projectsComprehensive knowledge of local, state, and national codes and standardsWorking knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering including mechanical, electrical, controls, structural, civil, and architectural systemsExperience with energy efficiency and sustainable design practicesKnowledge of construction processes, scheduling, trades, and OSHA regulationsExtensive experience managing large, complex, multi-disciplinary projectsProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitStrong time management skills with ability to manage multiple deadlinesExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsStrong technical writing and documentation skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience in senior leadership or program management rolesStrong background in client management and business developmentExperience managing high-value or large-scale infrastructure or building projectsKnowledge of advanced project management tools and methodologiesFamiliarity with sustainable design standards and certificationsDemonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and drive organizational success
