Manufacturing Engineer
Overview
In this role you will support manufacturing operations by analyzing processes and driving efficiency across new and existing production lines. You’ll help integrate new product lines, optimize workstation design, and assess manufacturing alternatives to boost cost efficiency. You work closely with cross-functional teams to develop robust, cost-effective production processes and improve ergonomics. This is a hands-on engineering position at a plastics-focused plant within a global organization.

ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering support for development and integration of new product lines into existing plant operationsIdentify manufacturing operations that could benefit from engineering analysisPerform detailed analysis of manufacturing operations and propose modifications to improve operationsAnalyze and redesign workstations for improved ergonomics and efficiencyPerform economic assessment of manufacturing alternativesAnalyze process flow and propose improvements for increased cost-efficiencyDevelop cost-effective and robust production processes
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing EngineeringMinimum 3 years of related experienceProgram management experienceManufacturing and Assembly processes experience and knowledgeSAP (or equivalent ERP system) experienceCNC programming and PLC experience preferredCore Tool (APQP & FMEA) and GD&T experience preferredUltrasonic/Vibration Welding for Plastics preferredCAD - 3D modeling/SolidWorks experience preferredEmployer will not sponsor visas for this positioncollaborative mindsetproject managementproblem solvingSAP (ERP)CNC programmingPLC
